Star Ceilings FAQ
Typically we would recommend a void depth of at least 150mm between the soffit and the stretch ceiling to allow the fibres to be fixed up and brought through the stretch ceiling at the correct angle. Visit our technical page for example fixing details.
Absolutely. Our most popular fibre optic LED source unit is the RGBW with twinkle effect which allows full choice of colours and dimming via a remote control or DMX control input. Alternatively, you can choose a simple static white option if preferred.
We use stretch ceilings for our fibre optic star ceilings. Stretch ceilings are made of a PVC membrane material which is stretched into a perimeter fixing profile. The fibre optic stars are suspended from the soffit above and brought through the stretch material individually.
Typically we allow for around 15 ‘stars’ per square metre. However, our star ceiling system is fully bespoke so we can either reduce the number of stars for a more sparse look, or increase the quantity for a more dense collection of stars depending on your preference.
